Springs/Coilover Suspension Install DIY Request

I'm actually suprised no one has posted one of these yet. I'm very curious to see if it's as hard as I think it is.

I guess I'd like to see this too, however I wonder if its worth asking.. Springs obviously don't seem like they be too complicated, but for someone installing coilvers, is that even a DIY'able project? Thinking it can't be that different than a spring install (which i've done myself on other cars) but have read things about "corner balancing" and with the adjustability stuff, kinda leads me to think this may be better off taking in somewhere.. Thoughts?

I will be installing coilovers In 2 weeks and if things go as planned I will create a diy. However the g37 shares similar or same suspensions and there are 2 diy for springs and suspensions online.

I thought there was a thread around here at least discussing it. Be aware that there are issues with common spring compressors not working with our front springs. I don't remember why, but I'll look for the thread.

Sorry guys I didn't take pics during the install since I did it alone. I have before and after pics though. It's pretty straight forward. I will post a list of the steps later tonight.

coilovers are actually easier to install than springs. Rears are easy on both and about the same. Coilover fronts usually come preassembled, so all you have to do is pull out the front shock/spring assembly and bolt the coilover assembly in. With springs only, you need a spring compressor to remove the spring from the shock and to reinstall the new spring. With eibachs especially, that pretty much requires taking the unit to a shop to have them use the hydraulic press, as the old school spring compressors wont compress the eibach spring enough, the coils are too close together.
