Default In the Middle of Installing Dynamat/Dynaliner … A Couple of Questions

As the title indicates, I'm currently installing Dynamat Extreme in the rear of the vehicle. The trunk is essentially finished. I'm now moving forward to the area to the back of the seats. I've removed the Bose amp as well as the satellite radio tuner/TEL adapter unit from this area. I now have a couple of questions before proceeding further:

First, I was planning on installing the dynamat on the floor where the amp and sat radio tuner sit … but then it occurred to me that the reflective surface of the dynamat could perhaps reflect heat back into amp/tuner possibly causing them to overheat. Not sure if this is a concern. Looking for input.

Second, there are still a couple of areas at the rear of the trunk (6" x 6") that sound like a snare drum when tapped. They also flex when applying moderate pressure by hand. Not sure whether a second "helping" of dynamat stretching across the rear of the trunk would help. Is there much to be gained by doubling up the dynamat? Need to decide before proceeding to install the dynaliner. Again, would appreciate any input.

Finally, a variation of the first question … if the amp/tuner were sitting on dynaliner would that be of concern from a heat retention standpoint?

As always, thanks in advance for your help.
