To be honest I think when it comes to cheap ideas like plasti-dipping a hood its a no brainer. Even if it worked, it would look God Awful. You spent

To be honest I think when it comes to cheap ideas like plasti-dipping a hood its a no brainer. Even if it worked, it would look God Awful. You spent some good money on your car, and you don't own a Honda Civic so spend a few dollars more and get it painted
 . But just for the overly curious, this guy had to remove it because its too hard to keep a consistent spray over a large area:
