I just used this method to remove my 370z badge this past weekend. With the 101 temp it worked like a charm!

I'm new to the Z community got my 11' Monterey Blue last monday and am wondering what you would have to do to recolor the emblems flat black and put them back on. Thanks in advanced

Nice, congrats on the Z. I have not personally done it, but have seen a few members on the forum that have used Plasti-dip to do this without taking the emblems off of the car.

I added a black Z emblem yesterday. I left the vehicle in the sun for about an hour (100+ degrees). Attempted to use fishing line but that cut into my hands so I tried an inner strand of paracord and it work great. Took about 10 minutes to complete most of which was getting the old adhesive off (used Goo-Gone).
