Sorry for the delay.. I used the Yellow for power and the Black for ground on the parking light. Yellow is only hot when the parking light is on. Some guys have soldered their wires inside the light to keep it all sealed and water proofed. I did mine out side on the Parking light plug.
When you turn your lights on they come on with your lights, turn it one more time and lights go off parking lights and you halos will come on. Thats how I drive during the day. My tail lights are blacked out and hard to see in the daylight, little better now with the flashing 3rd light and F1 light. Others have ran a power wire from the fuse panel to a switch in the arm rest with a fuse-able link so the could turn them on any time they want with out parking lights. ![]() Hop it helps.
