A harness needs to be under $100.00 Closer to $50 would be better. Otherwise when my warranty runs out I'll just cut the brown wire and live without the lock feature. If someone is going to steal the car they are going to get around the lock anyway.

This is the connector we need to make this go, the closest I have come is sourcing from outside the USA at the thousands of pieces to place an order.

Find some of these, the rest is fairly easy...

Those ones were made in Japan so Chinese won't do you any better than English trying to talk to them :)

I found what looked like a compatible part from another manufacturer but it had 16 pins instead of 8 (there are multiple versions with different pin counts from 4 to 40). I'm still researching but if anyone else wants to help dig I found the other one by searching for connectors under "025 series". Also look under "064 series" as that is the metric size.

Need to contact some Japanese Z lovers to get us some! - these ones in the picture are made by Sumitomo Wiring Systems Ltd.

Bdl99 could probably help us he made all the other plug and play stuff members on here are using. He also started off in the gtr forums and came here second. So this would be right up his alley. I'm going to send him a pm with a link to see if he thinks he could help us all out!

Thanks, I think I can help... Give me 48hrs to confirm, I already have the plugs I just need to check I can get the sockets.

As others have mentioned minimum order quantities are generally the issue. What sort of demand is there for this? I don't want to make a ton of money here but don't want to be stuck with thousands of connectors either.

Would $50-70 be a reasonable price? I need to confirm the prices and qty of connectors before committing to that. That may seen expensive but the issue is the quantity, if we want 10K I can probably get it down to more like $5

Ni55anPat 04-26-2012 03:26 PM

FOR 50-70$ I would def. buy

Baer383 04-26-2012 03:36 PM

Fvck it cut it up.:excited:

simota1 04-26-2012 03:37 PM
