None. I was going to get the harness being fabbed up, but would of been so pissed if my car went dead waiting for it. I'm at 38k.

Question for BDL99: Are you going to do a continuity check on each wire in each harness to be sure there are no cold solders or bad pin connections before sending the harnesses out ? I'd just like to be sure that the harness is good before connecting it and having something not work.
Thanks

gotchu99--

Just to make sure, you cut the wire while the car was in ACC??

Yes, just like all my kits, every kit will be tested before sending. I have a computer based cable tester that checks every pin and looks for shorts and checks correct pinouts etc. This is a very simply harness, so I don't expect any failures but everything will be tested none the less.

Yes, just follow Fritz's directions. Put car in acc, unplug the harness, cut the brown wire to the right of the yellow wire. If you are looking at the back of the plug when its removed the brown wire is in the right corner. just shine a light on it if its hard to see the color. There are 2 black wires below it. Tape the cut ends, and plug back in.

Do you have an expected turn around time before you will actually be able to take orders and have these sent out? Just a guesstimate would be fine. Like 2 weeks, or more like 2 months? Bc I would much rather have the harness but I too have an 09 that the warranty just ran out this month and I am debating just cutting the wire out of fear.

I will be posting more details later today, but I expect to open it up for orders later today and expect to ship within 2 weeks. The first batch will be 25-30 units and I will set stock accordingly. There is a chance that I may be able to ship a few earlier and will ship in the same order as the orders are placed.

Group buy update:

Steering lock plug and play harness should be ready to ship in approximately two weeks.

Price is confirmed at $50 plus shipping (which is calculated by the website)

The first batch will be for 30 units and therefore I have created an item on the website and set stock to 30. There is a chance that a few may be available earlier and if that happens I will ship in the order that the orders are received.

Page for pre-ordering is here and please be sure to include your screen name
