Here are some pics of my tail light tint.
I followed this guide to the nuts with all the steps and materials: HOW TO TINT YOUR TAIL LIGHTS WITH VHT NITESHADES (VIDEO 1 OF 2) - YouTube HOW TO TINT YOUR TAIL LIGHTS WITH VHT NITESHADES (VIDEO 2 OF 2) - YouTube I only put on 2 coats of nite shades instead of 3. The final finish turned out like glass - lots of polishing pays off nicely... ![]() Last edited by rhd; 07-30-2012 at 08:49 AM. |

![]() I was going to do overlays, but I'm comfortable with painting, so maybe I'll give this process a try. |

I tried vht on my buddys ford escort once just as a test dummy and it came out pretty bad, so I just went with the tints.
My friend tried vht on his max and it came out good, but when he went to remove it because he wanted it back to stock color, he had a hell of time gettin that ish off. Just a warning if you are using VHT. ![]() |
