LOL, really you think 4 2x4s spannin 10 inches can't support over 1500 lbs? Everything else is in compression except for the plywood at the start.

Well it doesnt help that those same 2x4s that are split are sitting like an inch on the base 2x4s...
![]() It would definetly be safer to use 2x12s atleast and stager them on top of each other till you reach the angle and height you wants. Safety First. Not a sermon, just a thought.
