DIY: Replace dreaded steering-lock on 2009s and early 2010s.

Yeah she's a 2010 that has the RevC part which is not covered under the recall. Which is absurd. I checked a while ago when I saw this and said

Yeah she's a 2010 that has the RevC part which is not covered under the recall. Which is absurd. I checked a while ago when I saw this and said no big deal it's not for my part number so I'm fine. It's currently parked at Nissan, immobile, so I guess I can go back and try again.

I am infuriated because since I've owned the car I have had to
Replace the differential bushings (aftermarket cause Nissan's are junk)
-replace the clutch slave cylinder (aftermarket, no help from Nissan even though the clutch is DEFINITELY part of the Power train warranty)
And now this.
