Quick Update: The problem that is occurring is definitely the Dreaded "Steering Lock"... This problem is not covered under warranty, not recalled, and the part will need to be ordered.

Quick Update:
The problem that is occurring is definitely the Dreaded "Steering Lock"... This problem is not covered under warranty, not recalled, and the part will need to be ordered. Without a discount the part retails for approx 800.00 That's not including dealer charges for labor which range between 120.00 - 140.00 per hour. *average* The guy at Nissan said this is a common problem that occurs on the 2009-2011 Nissan's and it makes no sense it hasn't been recalled. Looks like I'm totally out of luck on this one guys. |
