Default Another DIY Ipad 2 mount

This DIY is very simple. No glue required. I bought these items from Amazon for a total of $35.15 plus shipping.

Material Needed:
1) Fastwrap FW.1/2X10 1/2-Inch wide x 10 Roll hook and loop Velcro material = $10.99
2) Scotch(R) Heavy-Duty Fasteners = $3.99
3) iLuv Flex-Gel Case for iPad 2nd Gen = $20.17
Total = $35.15

First step is to put the case cover on the Ipad to prevent from getting it scratch up. You can stick The Scotch fasteners behind the case after you finish installing the 2 loops on the cubby.

Second Step is to cut the velcro roughly~1' 8" long (2x) to make two loops, which end up like this. The knob you see in the pic is to prevent the loop from rotating once the cubby is closed.

3. place the two loops around the cubby door.

4. Now you can stick the scotch fasteners on the back of the case. You may want to get a ruler and measure how far you want to stick the scotch fasteners. I stick mine roughly 1 1/2 inch from the edge for landscape view.

5. With this setup, you can remove and install the ipad on the cubby really fast and easy. Also, the cubby is still functional. Hopefully you like this setup.

how well does that velcro hold up when you hit a bump or something? seems like it would shake loose eventually

The Velcro hold up really well, no shaking. After a week of testing, im very satisfied with it.
