Key programming~

Been trying to get my dealer to properly program a second fob. Brought car and existing fob in 2 different times. Second visit was all day while I went to the office. They still can't get 2 fobs working. Once they program the second one the prior fob loses it's connectivity.

Needless to say I am extremely frustrated because I payed the ridiculous price for one and still have no second key. Only an IOU and a promise that 3 time will be the charm.

Second guessing my choice of dealer service here in San Diego.

Anyone else experience this dealer incompetence with programming these things? Based on these boards and speaking with the service guys, Nissan may have made this process too difficult for traditional mechanics.

Ugh!
