I'm looking to do this, can you use a rear cam via the aux in inside the console and be able to watch cam without having to be in reverse?

I'm looking to do this, can you use a rear cam via the aux in inside the console and be able to watch cam without having to be in reverse? I like to use cam to add in lane changing etc. Not sure if this was mentioned
