Homelink mirror on the cheap

I'm not familiar with these, can anyone tell me what's so great about them?

1. They have programmable buttons for coding your garage door, gated community remotes, etc.
2. They autodim when some jackass comes up on you with full beams at night. Then undim when he leaves you alone.
3. They have power to them so you can easily tap into them for powering Radar detectors, gps devices, etc. (InvinsiCord)
4. They can have extra features like a built in compass or outside temps. (mine has a compass and tells me what direction I am going, ie N, NE, S.)
5. Bragging rights
