Default 2016 models?

Hi, I was wondering if the paddle shifter installation was possible on the 2016 base models. I can't seem to find any technical service manual that could show this via diagrams anywhere...

Should be the same, no changes in 16 from 15 as far as I know.

Man, seems prices have gone up since this was posted. I'm looking at ~$360 for the paddles alone. Then $7 for each hole cover and $75 for the actual shroud. I do really want to do this though. Can't watch the video right now given I'm at work, but I'll definitely watch once I get home.

I rarely use the paddles, I prefer the shifter, old skool I guess.

You're right! I paid much less, but I got the paddles from eBay (used) I'd suggest you make an eBay alert and wait for one to be listed. The G37 ones might fit (not sure though) they're listed for $207 on eBay.

I used the paddles few times to humiliate few chargers and mustangs

Just a heads up. The paddle shifters can be installed on the base 2016 model. I just did this about an hour ago.

Edit: The bolts and nuts seem to be 10mm. Also if anyone orders the lower shroud/clam shell from Courtesy it is not currently in stock. Lead time is 2-3 weeks even though the website says it is in stock and will ship in 2-4 days.

I have a 2015 370z Base also. Do I need part 1 & 2 or just part 3(shroud) and the paddle shifters for this installation?

Just wanted to confirm that my 16 Base model just had the paddle shifters installed and all went flawless. Thanks ALOT to marrawi for the video that helped a lot of us members. I really love the added shifting capabilities. My Z's Rev-Matching Design Feature has now come to life and the paddle positioning just feels good. It's just quicker than the console since you don't have to be in the manual mode on the console shifter for them to function when needed.

They would make sweet buttons to activate front mounted machine guns or laser blasters.

Maybe pull on both simultaneously to spray NOS?

Thanks for posting this info. I ran down to Lowes yesterday and picked up the M6x1.00 nuts and bolts to do my install - they fit perfectly!

(FYI, mine is a 2017 and it's exactly the same as the 2015-16's)

Hello everyone, just got the chance to join, been reading this post but took a month to get approved to join.
I am from Texas and a finance person for a Nissan dealer in DFW. I am from the porsche crowd for many years and just sold my 14S, about 3 weeks a go got a great employee deal on a 17 370z and since I like to mod my cars I took a base and will take it from there the Z1 post MAF and K&N filters are my first mod that I have done.now to the next I have to have the paddle shifter.is the harness there? My parts department quoted me $10,000 to get parts harness and all kids of stuff LOL.
How do I find out if the harness is there?
And what parts would I need for 17 model?
Thank you in advance for all help that you may provide.
Ben

The harness is there. It's plug and play. Don't forget to get the clam shell cover. I got my paddles from Ebay for 280ish and the clam shell from courtesyparts.com.
