Soap and water with wheel woolies (safe for the face) or half-decent microfiber on the face/lip. Use brushes to hit the inner barrels only. If you need more than that every time, something is wrong! left over car wash soap from your wash should be more than fine!

If you have grease all over your wheels:
a) do not spray on tire dressing, apply to applicator and wipe on, wipe of any excess that gets onto your wheel, dressing on wheel will create a greasy, nasty mess
b) maybe not cleaning frequently enough?
c) you have a fluid leak somewhere, as the only thing that should be on your wheels is brake buildup and that comes off with soap and water

Meguires Wheel cleaner, then mirco fiber dry with some window cleaner
The window cleaner gets an water spots off and shins the lip pretty good.
