Looks black in the chip in pic but is white/grey IRL. Might just be clay in it as filling, unsure . It is a smalllllllll spot unnoticeable without a light and being really close.

Thanks to DEpointfive0 for a couple pm's

It looks like based on the picture that the clay did have some impact on the size and severity of the paint issue. I would suggest trying to clay once more before sanding just to take the simpler approach and not regret screwing up the wetsanding if you are a novice. You may be able to knock that out with another round of clay or make it so small its not worth worrying about. Only my 2 cents...good luck with the repairs.

Also if it is touch up paint a lot of them come with paint remover solutions which dont damage paint that is cured onto the car. Maybe try a solution like the one that comes with Dr. Color chip and see if it removed the paint stuck in the chip and then you can repair the chip properly or take it to a shop. Again im just spewing out what my brain is thinking.

That was written for a pic I edited out of original

The first pictures was a touchup paint bubble that went away with claying, now its a very small paint chip hole , my Dr colorchip isn't here yet.

Hard to tell without feeling the damage and knowing what im looking at but it looks like the paint is gouged out to the paint at the least, id let a pro handle it, too many ways a self fix can make it worse.
