Default Alternative to Dawn Wash

Could you use Adams APC added to Adams Car Shampoo in order to get all wax/sealants/residue off the paint for a full detail? If so what is the ratio of APC to shampoo to water? Anyone have any information regarding this as a potential alternative to Dawn?

You could add some APC to the Adam's soap. Try a 1:1 ratio, and see if your paint still beads after a wash. If it still beads, wash again until the beading is gone. Remember to inclrease the amount of APC next time you do the same thing.

I just use Dawn for stripping old wax/sealants. Its cheap, fast and effective. Easy peasy.

I wipe down the entire surface with 50/50 diluted isopropyl alcohol, even after washing. It's cheap and works really well.

PPG acryli-clean (dx330) does the trick as well.
