I believe you are thinking backwards. Glazes are not as aggressive as polishes, so glaze on your newer paints, polish for more weathered paints. They basically do the same thing,

I believe you are thinking backwards. Glazes are not as aggressive as polishes, so glaze on your newer paints, polish for more weathered paints.
They basically do the same thing, just in a different manner.
