Wet sanding is necessary to remove imperfections. The light will enhance any imperfections that naturally occur no matter how good a spray painter you are. It is a lot of work but worth it if you are picky about your car. I also recommend covering the entire car not just the hood and fenders. Low mil. plastic is cheap.
Great info! Which product would you recommend for the clear coat?
