I know im late with this but just a few months ago...my dad's corvette underwent a full repaint. However as i asked the bodyshop to take it easy with the buffing they refused to do it because of the deep scratches. After all the task was to tackle all the defects, and there were many heavy swirls,DA sander pigtails and overspray, random isolated deep scratches. But i was glad to see it now...it's a totall make over...
