Default Tree sap problem, need advice.

Good morning fellow enthusiast!

Alright so here is my problem. I recently bought a WP 370Z but I've been having this problem with my previous rides as well. There is a giant tree right in front of my house that drips tree sap daily. It get's really annoying to keep clean and prevent the sap from settling. During the springs and summer months it gets really bad due to the leaf growth on the tree. I have a car cover but you can't keep the car covered all the time and my garage is currently used as storage, plus with 3 cars it gets tedious to back up all the cars just to take the Z out for a spin. I've been wiping her down with megiurs and a microfiber every morning since I've bought her.

My question is what would you guys do in my case, or am I just screwed and forced to wipe her down all the time?

Appreciate your time!

Contact the USDA and ask for help. In some cases they will take the tree off at no charge and repositioned. Good Luck.. I have a tree in my Home done this way. USDA charge 2000.00 to the site engineer and they charge me extra for the labor and permits.

Hahah thanks for the reply, I'll try giving my city hall a call tomorrow. Problem is the tree is HUGE, to the point where the roots have uplifted the cement pavement around it. My dad wants me to tell them we're afraid it might collapse on the house during the raining seasons but I don't know if that will get them to take action.

if its lifting the pavement the city will often come remove it free of charge... the sidewalks, curbs, and in some cities even the parkway greenbelt are considered city property. A lifted section of cement in the sidewalk or street resulting from tree roots can be a safety/tripping hazard.

I see you're in SoCal so call your city hall and find out. My grandmother had a couple of large trees in her hard that started to lift the sidewalk and driveway. Ontario had a crew out within a week and removed the tree/ground the stumps, and planted saplings its place.

Thanks Guys!

Just called city hall today and they're going to have an expert come out to investigate the issue tomorrow. If they're not going to remove the tree they will trim the branches, which IMO won't do that much good but hey better than nothing.
