I was just thinking that compressed air would probably be less efficient than a leaf blower; as the compressed air leaves the nozzle, it'll actually become colder due to the pressure drop. This is the exact opposite of what you want to dry a car.

Also, I don't know about you, but the air compressor pump is the single most annoying sound in the world to me...
