I'm gonna guess a hair dryer, but I'd ask that question in a web search and see what comes up

custom paint, huh? kinda scary that the paint could peel off with the vinyl.

you can try this at your own risk. i would place the car under the sun until hot to the touch. then peel back the edge with your nail or plastic razor, then fold over the vinyl 180 degrees and peelback as flat as possible to the panel. this way the pull-up area is minimized.

Vinyl will peel off easily once you get it started. Use some bug & tar remover to clean off any left over adheasive. Using anything to scrape it off will guarantee scratches or worst. Since the paint will likely need some tlc anyway, it would be a good idea to have it polished and a fresh coat of wax put on after removing the vinyl.

Are these "decals/stickers" your talking about or a clear vinyl wrap that protects the paint?

Can be done, just gonna take a lot of patience and time.

You can pick up a heat gun relatively cheap at any hardware store, much more effective than a hair dryer. I got my Milwaukee for $20+/- at home depot and it makes debadging or removing decals much easier.

Yeah, these are vinyl stipes down the side and sponsor decals on the hood side and side skirts. I'll post before and After pics when I finally try a chance to do it.

Thanks for the advise.
