Question To wash or not to wash

I just had some body work on my Z. I was told I could wash the area that was painted, but not wax it. Everything I've found on the net indicates I should wait 30 days before washing. Does anyone know for sure? I hate driving a dirty car. Thanks.

I'd just deal with it being dirty and wait. Rushing it and messing up the paint just to have a cleaner car for roughly a month doesn't sound worth it

I had my rear bumper repainted and my door handles painted to match the car not too long ago. I did a rinseless wash with Optimum No-Rinse roughly a week after (without even thinking about the possibility of messing up the paint) and thankfully it did not affect the newly painted areas.
