will this damage my paint?

So I absolutely hate these dealer installed pin strips. I want to remove them from my car but i do not want to cause any harm to my paint job. I removed them once from my 1997 240sx but frankly that car was much cheaper than my z and I was younger and more careless when I owned that car.

So my questions
1. Will these cause damage to my paint job either by removing it or from paint fade. The car is a 2013 so I wouldn't think there would be much if any fade but I wanted to check first?
2. What the best technique for the removal?
3. I bought my car three weeks ago from drivers way and of course they also put a decal on the back as well. Whats the best technique for removing it and will that cause any damage.

Ill attach a few photos to illustrate. Im just a very proud and protective new owner.

Can't help with the pin stripes, but there are threads regarding the removal of the dealer decal.

junkman will have a better insight but from a quick google search sounds like the biggest issue with removing the stripes will be sticky residue which can be time consuming to remove and also may show signs of some hologramming since the stripes have been there a few weeks.

imo, time is best spent on junkman videos. he spends countless hours breaking detailing down from a to z.

Silver should be safe from fading, especially that new. Are they vinyl stripes? Use a hair drier to heat them up and they'll peal right off. A quick swipe with some paint prep wax/grease remover will take care of any sticky residue.

I've had good luck as already mentioned using hair drier. Then 3m adhesive remover. If all else fails like the thread you linked to you can lightly wet sand and buff out. ive pulled it off and older Nissan with black pain and had no issues.

As I mentioned in it, I just used a hair dryer and went slow to pull the decal off. There was a ton of residue left over, so it actually took 3 passes with the Goo-Gone to get it all off. There was little bit of paint fading, but it's not really noticeable unless you're looking for it.

Take a hair dryer or heat gun and let the sticker heat up a little bit. Take floss and slowly peel it off, the take goo gone and wipe the excess sticky stuff off xD
