Default Scratches from car wash

I dont normally take it to wash but in the winter the dealer took it through their wash an just recently i noticed many fine scratches on my white paint. All around the hood area. Now it doesnt seem deep but on white paint these black lines are visible when car is clean.

Should i use compound and then a scratch doctor or vise versa before the wax

That is why I don't get it washed (unless its on my driveway or with a touch-less carwash). I also tell the dealer to put a note on my work order to NOT wash the car. They always look at me like Im a freak. lol

never let anyone or anything wash your Z. the paint Nissan uses is terrible and will scratch easily.

mine one gets hand washed/hand waxed by me or my detail guy when it needs extra love once in awhile

Honestly i forgot they even had a car wash there and the car had like under 1k miles. I called the dealer up and waiting to hear back. They are going to fix this. Its a pretty excessive amount of fine scratches

This is if they even admit to it. Most car washes claim they are not responsible for damage

For heavy to light swirls and scratches, I usually recommend Megs Ultimate compound or Swirl X. It can be applied by hand or with a DA polisher.

recently ive been using nothing but scratch-x 2.0 on foam pad (griot's orange) with either my 3" or 6" orbital for swirls and light scratches.
