Default Removing syrup from carpet?

Hey, someone spilled some syrup on my floor mats last night and its a bit dried up now and hard. What's a good way to remove it? It's not too big, maybe like 5CM in diameter.

id try hot water and soap.. but you'll have to soak it in a bucket or tub.
then use your shop vac to suction out the water and hang dry.

If it has dried, scrape off what you can and vacuum well. Soak with warm/hot water. Vacuum again to remove excess water. Let dry.

I use Fabric Cleaner by Stay Fresh Car Care. Stuff is like magic!

you may need to agitate it with a soft bristle brush.
