As everyone else said, happy you didn't run over it. Sure it wasnt' a good feeling. 2 screws and 3m tape, depending on the lip might be enough but like you I wuld have preferred 2 more. I installed my Carbon Fiber Side Blades myself and I think I used 8 Self Taping screws PER side lol.
