I thought you could change the setting the left side control panel?

Driving on the highway at about 115km/h, I got about 9.5L/100 km. I'm the same too however...I have grown up my entire life with the metric system but have no idea what a good L/100 km is...
I haven't seen a way to change from metric to miles but will keep looking if AK believes it is there. |

Nissan Canada states that the 6MT gets 11.6L/100k city and 7.7L/100k Highway. Now in mpg that is 20 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. Thats pretty good because a Honda Accord coupe gets 21 mpg city and 34 highway.

Wow... not even close. I'd say with a tail wind but since the rear end is so areodynamic I doubt that would help... maybe downhill.... I suppose I should wait until I'm past the break in to even bother checking such things...
There is an option in the settings to switch to/from metric... but you can't do it while driving.... |

If I may correct NXTAZEE, the rating in Canada for gas milage is 36 mpg = 7.7 l/100km for highway. I think you may have used 3.8l for a US gal in your conversion calculation vice 4.5l for an imp gal used in Canada.
On a long road trip yesterday I was getting consistent 8.2l/100km at 109kph with cruise control engaged. This would be 33mpg. On my first and only two fill ups I averaged 27mpg combined city/highway. The range function would indicate that I could travel 780km before my next fill up if it was all highway driving at 109kph over similar terrain. |

15 L for 100 Km is pretty bad...that's like what 18 to 22 MPG......
EDIT: it's even worse 14.868894116166185 MPG ( U.S Gal) Last edited by nogoodname; 06-01-2009 at 10:43 AM. |
