Richmond - Platinum M6

Hey guys, I was in BC not too long ago, just moved back to montreal. I left a set of stock 18s painted matte black with tires on them in white rock, with a friend. If anyone is interested, I'll let them go for very cheap. Would be a great track/winter wheel for anyone interested!

How much are you wanting? Do you have pictures?

- 18" Flat black rims + tires
That's the kijiji link to them, as you can see there is minor curb rash on 1 wheel, but that's it. Was originally asking for $700 for the rims and tires, but just need to get rid of them at this point so ignore the asking price on kijiji. I'd let them go for 400 OBO. Pm me! |

Not on the mainland but nearby in Victoria. Get a group together and we'll do an Island cruise sometime....

New owner here. Downtown Vancouver and Richmond. Part of Nissan/Infiniti Club of Canada where we do lots of cruises and meets in the spring/summer/fall. Feel free to join up.
You may have seen my GTR driving around over the past 2 1/2 years...the red one with time attack wheels. Anyways loving this new car and hope to meet most of you soon! |
Another new owner in the Vancouver area (Sunshine Coast). Just picked my 2010 Touring M6, sport & nav up from Washington State. Gotta say the importing process went very smoothly and would recommend it to anyone looking to save $$.
FYI: I called Nissan USA and Nissan Canada with regards to the warranty, to ensure I would be covered up here. From the correspondence with them, there is some misinformation out there. Yes, you can buy a new Nissan in the states, bring it into Canada and still have full warranty. The catch is, you first must register it in the States to a permanent address and then when you import it into Canada re-register it to your home address. One of the letters I received from Nissan USA sites this as an example. One question to everyone, I had the daytime running lights activated on my Z. It did not require a module to be installed but a change in the programming. Now the HID lights come on full strength each time the car is started. Is that the same for your cars? or are the fog lights used? I am concerned the more frequent on/off switching of the headlights will prematurely wear them out. Happy New Year, Cheech |
yep I am pretty sure that the stock DRL are the same as our lights when they are on, I noticed this to when I turn the lights on and it's dark out the headlights don't get any brighter just have the rear running lights come on.

To turn them off you would have to reprogram the ECU.
To pass the Federal & Provincial vehicle inspection I had to have the DRL activated or an aftermarket install. I called nearly all the dealerships in the lower mainland, all the way out to Abbotsford to see if any could install the factory DRL. There was only one that would (could) do it. It was interesting (humorous actually) the range of responses received. One service manager said their guys would have no clue how to do it, another quoted $450.00 to install aftermarket ones. At first the dealership quoted me $250 to install the factory DRL module, but when I went to pick up the car, the service guy said it was just a programming change made that was required and charged me $56 (including taxes). To do it yourself, you'll need the Consult-III. If the dealership will agree to turning them off, try the one in Burnaby. Cheers, Cheech |

Any one got Greddy DRL on their car? I just installed them last week. Here is a photo about the look.
The thing about this, well, I did mod my headlight with smoke and the halo eyes. everything looks fine. At light, is bright. I was hoping if I wish to turn off the light from projector but keep all other LED on during the day time. I asked the nissan, they replied that it will be a lot of work.. So, I gotta keep like this then. Is cool |
I would think that if your Greddy lights come on with the engine, then the dealership could reprogram the ECU to turn off the HID headlights.
Stop by the Morrey Nissan dealership in Burnaby and ask for Rob |
