I was in the same boat although I was going to buy a used 350Z as the pricing here in Canada was absurd and I didn't really see the value when you could buy a 2007 for half the price. I had just heard about the 370Z but I just assumed it was the same car with a larger engine. Now that I found out its an upgraded version and I like the styling better and I can proabably afford to buy it outright and I've never had a new car and... well I guess I don't really need to sell it to myself do I  So yea to make a short story long our timing was pretty good. I can't buy until I'm done my new house in April so it works out just right....
