man i was so tempted to bring my ZX6R out today but i already ripped everything apart to prepair for the install of new front cowl, fairings, exhaust system, sprockets/chain, ignition modual, speedo healer and HID's. So it would have been to much of a pain to put everything back together just for 1 day (since i leave tomorrow for 1 month)

Our winters are long in Canada and in 25 years of storing vehicles through the winter, I have never had "problems" or "issues" with tires or wheels after storage. I'm not sure where you guys are getting this from (?).... it's really the first time I've heard of anything like this. Is it that I've always stored them in a heated garage?

Confused...

I think it was bias ply tires that flat spotted. Modern cars have radials I have always parked all of my sports cars for winter and have never had an issue with flat spotting nor have I heard of any one else that parks the car for winter having flat spots. I put some fuel stabalizer in a full tank of gas and start the car and let it warm up for 10-15min every couple weeks and i have never had issues that related to storage.

I'm still driving the Z a few times each week. The weather here in Halifax is holding up nice. Sunny and 10C today and a high of 12C predicted for tomorrow. When the weather does get ugly, and it no doubt will, the Z will only come out of the garage on dry days regardless of the temperature outside. Hey, that's what the heated seats were meant for right???

The weather here around the Edmonton area has been nothing short of amazing. Yesterday it was 18 degrees (c). Are ya kidding?! I'm still driving the Z until the snow sets in. When that happens, it'll be parked for the duration. (Usually early April is when we come out of winter for good.)

Dry days - lol I don't think I could swing that here on the Wet Coast. My 240Z is a fair weather only car but its all but irreplaceable. Besides the 370Z won't rust when it gets above .00001% humidity ;)

I'm so happy when i come back from the Olympics, spring will be just around the corner.

On another note. Just passed 9000km on my Z and its going into the dealership for its first set of issues. My climate controls go crazy every once in a while. Seems like it does it when i go through a car wash, thinking its because its so cold outside then the temp inside makes the sensors go nuts. What happends is all the lights on the climate controls go out, it goes full blast heat/fan to the windshield. Cant change it, cant turn it off cant do anything. Happend 2 times so far.

Thats the first issue, second issue is the driver side front speaker is crackling so im going to get them to check everything out and replace it tomorrow.
