Can you put nismo sways and springs on 370z 40th?

Yes, all parts are interchangeable.
Honestly, Nismo springs are worth their weight in... Almost nothing actually...
The struts are OK, but your suspension will be much, MUCH harder... And cornering will be better...

Now, sway bar... It's not definite that the stock Nismo sway is any stiffer... The ones Z1 sells ARE stiffer... Not by much, good for a DD, it's what I have

The supposed drop is .4" some say none.

Better, what does better mean? Ride quality will go to backbreaking REAL quick... And yeah, I guess a stiff as shít suspension is "better" for cornering, but don't waste your money or time and buy a set of real springs... (Please do not ask WHICH springs, we have 3000 threads for that topic as well)

The Nismo sway bars will make a change in handling, I have a completely stock Z with sport package, the front always felt like it was pushing in a hard fast turn.
I caught the sale at Z-1 they had at the beginning of the year for the Nismo bars which
Z-1 claimed they were Nismo Japan part not off the factory build. After the change there was a noticeable different. They are good street upgrade that is factory tuned to the car, but lack the adjustably if you what to seriously track the car.

The NISMO O.E. springs & shocks are different from NISMO S Tune .Several people have reported issues off no drop or slight increase in ride height. With the O.E. setup.Please see attachments for a comparison off stock vs. NISMO S Tune springs and swaybars. The info for stock spring rate is from Eibach where it is compared to their Pro Kit.

Hope the attachment up loads . If it doesn't the S Tune spring rates are 450 front ,508 rear.

So you are saying (or I guess Eibach is saying) that the Nismo S Tune spring/damper/roll bars are stiffer than the oem Nismo suspension bits? Is there documentation somewhere on what the oem Nismo comes with?

Also sourced from Eibach this is a comparison of O. E. Nismo Vs. their Pro Kit for Nismo edition. As can be seen from all the various info apparently the S-Tune springs are very slightly softer than O. E. Nismo. I've never seen any damper rates given anywhere O.E. base or O,E. Nismo.

Unless you're finding this Nismo stuff at a great price, the aftermarket alternatives usually offer more of an upgrade for less money.

thought i posted this earlier, but the nismo springs raise the front more than the base, doesn't it?

ask tjblazer. he did a full conversion from base to nismo. and i think he threw out the nismo springs and used swift springs instead.

Yep. I installed Nismo full suspention off a Nismo, with struts and it raised my front .5"! 28" front and 28" rear. Removed them and installed Swift Spec R on my original struts. 1000% better. My kidneys are much happier now!

i would think if you just installed the nismo springs/shocks ext they would sit a little higher at first but when broke in they will sit 0.4 lower??

Nope, it didn't. Infact I went back and double checked that everything was installed correctly and that the struts and springs were settled and aligned correctly. Was 28" from the ground to arches. Where it was about 27.5" before.

I then did some research and looked at all the Nismo 370Z's. I noticed that they all seemed to be a little higher in the front than base Z's. They almost had a boat look to them, where the front looked raised a little compared to regular Z's! Hmmmm. Seems to me that is how the Nismo 370Z is supposed to be? For handling/track use maybe? I don't know. But all I know is it did NOT lower .4" !!

edit - but maybe my car was an odd one where it was about 27.5" inches stock. Go measure your stock Z and see what the height is. From the ground to the top arch on each side...

The NISMO S-tuned springs/shocks drop the car 0.5" I know, as that is the drop I got when I replaced my touring springs/shocks. Can't talk the sways as I have Hotchkis front and rear. Ride is a little stiffer, but not kidney shattering (unless the road is messed up, then I change lanes). It handles great on the track, and street.
