One of these days someone is going to have to explain to me the difference between Over-/under-steer. I myself don't track, and don't know much about it. But sway bars/suspension is something I would like to upgrade.

When a car understeers the front end looses traction and the car goes straight.
When a car oversteers the rear end looses traction and the car starts to spin.

Basically understeers is when you hit the wall with the front of your car and oversteer is when you hit it with the back.

LOL, that's one way to put it.

Haha, that's the NASCAR way.

Damn car was so loose I backed it into the fence!

Or, Damn car was so tight I plowed like a dumptruck straight into the fence!

I think I'm going to go with the Stillen sways since the car is primarily a DD. And they are pretty and red. :) :hello:

So according to the poll hotchkis it is!

These two responses pretty much sum up the question everyone looking into to sways should ask themselves……What type of driving do you plan on doing - Street or Track?

I have the Hotchkis and it is currently the stiffest setup, not sure about Cusco. The downside to the Hotchkis is that it is really too stiff for the street and will impact your turn-in grip if you don't add negative camber. On the track the stiffer the better but on the street I think the Stillen is the best compromise.

There should be 2 polls, one for Street & Spirited driving and another poll for Track.

My vote is for Stillen! Josh, I will be contacting you soon for some sways

Now we have Whiteline to add to the mix. Whiteline has an extensive record with STi and EVO owners and have shown great results. Forged Performance is selling them and apparently the Whiteline sways were tested on a 370 specifically so may be worth taking a look at.

I've heard only good things about the Whiteline swaybars. They are a bit on the expensive side however...

Anybody has some feedbacks for them on a 370?

I think the guys over at Robispec are running a 27mm Whiteline three way adjustable sway bar in the front (but no rear sway bar?) if I recall correctly. I haven't seen any comments about the sways from them though.

I had Hotchkis on my 350 and loved them. One of the best mods I did. Haven't tried anything else. But waiting on more results and opinions from others before I make a final purchase some day.

Just wondering...

For the Stillen Sway Bar fans, what settings did you use for rear sway bar for DD?

and for Hotchkis Sway Bar fans, what settings did you use for front/back for DD?

Thanks for the help by the way!

Hotchkis - DD... softest setting

What if you do track driving on the street? J/K! :D
