I think you can get the DBA 2 piece front and rear for significantly less - anyone know if these are really better?

370Z JT 04-19-2014 02:27 PM

^DBA only makes 2 piece fronts only.

clintfocus 04-19-2014 02:27 PM

i remember the DBA being more, and not having a 2 piece rear

Damn damn damn.

This is just another thing I have to buy now. :(

Not less. They cost more and weigh A LOT more.
There's a reason why I sold them with less than 200 miles on them

Yep sorry my mistake. Also good to know they weigh more! Definitely gonna have to put front and rear Z1 2 piece rotors on when it comes time to upgrade later this year.

Come on Z1...front and rears would go great with my setup....

I put the fronts on last week and really noticed a difference. Seems to be less rolling resistance and the steering wheel really glides with aggressive turns. The rears are do to be delivered Tuesday. I haven't done any hard breaking as I wanted to break all rotors & pads in at once. She is resting on stands awaiting UPS

I have had a near final version of the rear two piece rotors on my car for 8 months now and highly recommend them.

Is the parking brake still working well with these?

Regardless, I'll eventually buy them this year to match the fronts.

99% sure Z1 wouldn't make rear rotors that eliminate the parking brake....

The operation of the emergency brake is the same as factory. The rotors have the same profile as factory so dust shields etc work as well ... They really look kickass which is a bonus because they perform amazingly well.
