Will create drag ...... for me, I'd use a Naca duct in place of a "scoop"

I don't think. It'd be like blowing threw a straw head on. It just goes in and right out. I doubt a NACA duct would pull much air in being flush on the side of the body. It might but I'd rather have these feeding a NACA duct. With the pics on the first page, Japanese race teams would be using something better if there was something.

What did you decide the ducting will go to? Also how did you take off the window?

I'd like to make her Thor, but just between the legs.

That reads so good in Mike Tyson's voice.

The whole point of a NACA duct is to be an effective flush mount, low drag, intake. That's what it's engineered for and they work.

I don't doubt that but where on the body? There will be dead air spots. These 100% work and being so open for the window, any air moving in moves right out so no drag.

Finished the vents .

I got 22g steel and cutout the hole and to fit the windows shape. I had some 2.5" SS pipe laying around that I then tac welded to the steel. Then I bondo'd filled the gaps for an air/water tight seal then plasti dipped everything because that is also water proof. Then I siliconed in front and behind the steel for a water tight finish and used self tapping screws to secure it to the body.

The air flow in is very great because the 2.5" pipe is at the back of the vent. It acts like a big parachute and funnels all the air into the pipe. The rear brakes should remain pretty cool

Looks nice dude! Now all you need is some aero and a cage. Where are you going to run the hose through?
