Rear end would jump when going over lane deviders or any other small bump. Car completely lost traction in the rain. Was literally scary to drive over 40mph as the rear was in a constant fishtail.

At the time I was on pretty worn and stretched Michelin pilot super sports. Changed out to Continental DWS all seasons with less stretch and the ride is perfect now.
Ok..cuz for a second I was like..how would camber arms make you lose traction in the rain?

I was wondering the same thing but the changes were apparent same day as everything was installed. I think it was more the rear sway bar going from loosest setting to stiffest setting. Once one wheel became unsettled the entire back end would shift. And since I was riding on stretched tires with about 2 degrees of negative camber the contact patch was kind of small and I had some pretty bad inner tire wear. So in the rain the back end was constantly moving a tiny bit side to side.

The new tires are both wider and taller so I'm thinking my contact patch is a lot bigger now. Plus they are ALOT softer than the PSS tires were. The DWSs eat up small bumps in the road and the car feels a lot more planted when driving at anything under 85-90% of the car's limit. Drove home in the rain today with no issues at all.

Anyways, just didn't want the OP to overlook a difference worn/stretched tires could make.
