mmm no one with racing aspirations buys 8-pot calipers. Anything bigger than 6pot is for show. They don't perform any better and you are stuck buying ridiculously expensive pads that aren't even made for racing applications.

These Alliance ones look purty for sure.

anyone else going to get in on these? I know the fronts are cheaper than Brembo Caliper Upgrades!!!

I gotta agree with RCZ, he knows what he's talking about.

I agree with him too - NASCAR, F1, Indy, Le Mans... 6 pot...

Shunya 08-16-2009 12:25 PM

My Type R also uses a micro 6.

Mike@Blackline 08-24-2009 01:14 AM

I doubt this fact will deter anyone who's giving this kit any serious thought. They are just catering to the show/poser crowd who are looking for the cheapest way to have something pretty behind their wheels. The pictures of all those cars with these brakes installed speak volumes.

I could care less about how a BBK looked, although proper braking components look good by default. I've never even heard of this "company" before. I'll stick with a track-proven Brembo/StopTech/Alcon setup, thanks.
