Default Old 350z/g35 brembo calipers on z34

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I didn't see anything. But I am looking to upgrade from the crap base brakes without breaking the bank. Does anyone know the size of the z33 Brembo calipers and if they need different size rotors other than the two types on the z34. I've never did any caliper swapping so not too sure what I'm doing. Thanks

There is a guy selling the Akebono kit here for $1200. Why not get what was designed for this car? They are larger anyways.

I believe the mounting brackets are different. I vaguely remembered reading that the z33 brembo won't work on z34, something about sensors going wacko, can't remember where I read it though.

You mentioned $ constraint, and in all the base brakes upgrade thread, 2 questions will eventually come up so I"ll do the honor:

How much are you planning to spend?
Is this for looks or performance?

I know you need a bracket to put akebonos on the front of a 350z, so they probably don't go the other way either
