I have no idea why its doing that and it randomly started to do so, anybody have any ideas or thoughts of why that may be happening?

You may want to check the brake fluid

This will cause the brake light to come on also.

or the handbrake switch maybe at fault

Another for brake fluid. This happens to me on the track when my brake pads get low. As they wear, the brake fold level drops and when it sloshes around in the turns the e-brake light starts coming on randomly. That's how I know it is time to take it easy so I have enough brake pad to get home.

if this is coupled with your vdc light coming on as well it is caused by your steering wheel position indicator needing to be reset...

have you removed the steering wheel or replaced it? this happened to mine when i installed a carbon wrapped one and just had the dealer reset it
