I had Tein MonoFlex on my 370Z (no EDFC). They worked well on the street and at the track. I had the rebound initially set at the default that the instruction manual suggested, but ended up softening them up by 2 clicks both front and back and the ride on our rough streets were a little jarring after a while.

Not sure if you really need EDFC. It's very expensive, and how often are you going to be adjusting the rebound anyway? In the rears, the adjustment knob is on the side of the upper portion of the shock, not at the top as is the case for other systems. I'm not sure how the EDFC motors install, but for strut installation, you don't have to take off or cut any interior panels.
