Nice work

I was going to do air, but probably not with my future body plans.

KaienZ34 07-24-2014 01:28 PM

Damn so nice, and thanks for all the info it is greatly appreciated. I'm on 19's and not very aggressive at 19x9.5+20-255/35/19----19x10.5+0-295/30/19. I don't know if i'll be able to lay it flat or not, still should be pretty low though. Best part is i'll be able to get in and out of my drive way without rubbing my front lip.

Liquid_G 07-24-2014 01:44 PM

exactly. I consider air suspension almost like insurance against scraping the hell out of lips and exhausts etc..

bump, looking to buy my air ride in a few weeks. looking to see if any one has any new setups

NorthStyle 07-15-2016 12:30 PM

I have the Stance cup kit setup... still working out the bugs though as I can't get the front to lift; I think the solenoid for raising isn't receiving power :\

How to install a cup kit on the G37 where the rear springs are separate from coilowers?

Depends on if you're wanting just the front to lift, or all around. If it's just the front, then it would be the same as installing OEM-style coilovers. I'm not aware of anyone with a Z/G running them all-around but I don't think it'd be too different than any of the air suspension setups.

Planned installation of this kit Комплект пневмоцилиндры Air Cups (перед + зад) плюс управление

Anyone able to help me.

I want to be able to lift mainly just the front end over bumps etc and then drop back to normal height. I have a stock 15'Z sports, stock height and will have Work meister S13P wheels on them soon enough and a SS front lip. 19x9.5 +17 front and 19x10.5 +12 R.

What is the cheapest, effective and reliable solution for me to be able to do this with that setup?

Cheers.

NorthStyle 11-27-2016 02:07 AM

No offense, but if you're at stock height with a larger-than-stock wheel/tire setup you shouldn't need any assistance getting over bumps.

But to answer your question: none of these options are cheap; my cup kit cost more than some air bag setups but I preferred to only adjust when needed. Your best bet would've been to jump on one of the Black Friday sales. Some of the companies may have a Cyber Monday sale or more sales leading up to Christmas so if you're in the market now it the time to purchase.

But when i add the SS lip it is going to be alot lower I think? And I guess once I get my new wheels and put them on, I will lower the car as much as possible without adjusting camber if it allows any at all.

And after researching the bag and air cup kit, I think i prefer air cup kit.

You're planning on adding a cup kit to ... Stock suspension?

is that wrong? lol

What if I lower it.

And can't I change out the stock kit to aftermarket later and pit the cup kit on that?

NorthStyle 11-28-2016 02:42 AM

Cup kits are usually added to coilovers; although I don't believe it's out of the realm of possibility to put a set on top of the stock spring/strut combo. The problem with this setup will be that your front suspension will automatically raise in height proportionally to the height of the cup kit itself and your front/rear "stance"/rake/whatever will be lopsided.

Still, if this is what you want, then it would be best to get with Stance, Fortune, Phantom or one of the companies who produce the kits to get their input. The stock spring/strut combo would have to be sent in to be assembled and that's only if it's compatible with the cups.

If u can't drive carefully too avoid damage to the point of needing a cup kit, it's time to switch to a different car

Cup kits are thousands of dollars and that's not counting installation, you are literally burning money

Does Nissan sell the rogue in australia? Just give up and get a different platform

Hahaha you make me laugh so much! Nope they don't sell the Rogue, but we have the prius here!

For anyone still following this or stumbles upon it, I will be documenting my install of an "Air Lift Performance" kit on all four corners. Ill be making a new thread for it and will try to remember to update here with a link. Ill be doing my best to document how I run the wires, airlines, and everything else.

Be warned, I have never installed one before so take what i post with a grain of salt when the time comes. So if any one has pointers on how they ran their air lines to the front wheels I would like to hear where you ran them. I plan on running the R/H with the fuel lines and the L/H on the left utilizing the a similar channel; OR i though or running them through the side skirts to prevent as much debris and direct weather to them as possible.

PM with any suggestions.

Thanks!

Air Lines

Can anyone please describe or show pictures on how they ran their air lines? I am trying to do the install myself and I am not sure the best way to run them! Thank you for your help!

MaoMeow305 09-04-2020 09:21 PM

You can run the airlines inside the car along with the harness, or under the car. For the under install, I've seen people tuck them inside the plastics by the side skirts, so they stay hidden away from the elements and road. This is the road I will be going as it makes for simpler fix if a line goes bad, i dont want to deal with having to take the car apart on the inside to fix or replace a line. I will install the harness inside though, through the trunk/sides and into the front firewall by the battery
