Default E-Brake Problem

When I park on a hill using the E-Brake, it makes a noise and a slight movement before coming to a stop. Is this normal or do I need to have this checked it? I'm suspecting this may be from the Discount Tire guys who pulled my E-Brake up way too hard. It was even hard for me to put it back down, but this happened awhile ago and I noticed the problem just recently.

LOL. The Z's parking brake is a simple cable and drum setup. When you set it, there may be a little shift of the car before it's really set and stable (you just feel a little roll and hear some rubbing as it takes a hold). If the force is OK and the brake holds the car, then it's normal. My post linked to above was because my parking brake didn't hold my car at all. It just needed a tension adjustment.

Ok, I got it. Now I fully understand. So I won't have to make any adjustments then since it's working as intended.
