A little up-date. :D Have my brake ducts installed. The left side went real smooth. The right side is a pain because of the washer reservoir. It's in the way somewhat. I had to cut the duct at an angle some, so that the reducer could clear the reservoir. If you are planning this with a 4" hose. It ain't happening unless you remove the washer reservoir. If you want to see more pictures. Look in my journal.

Looks good!

DCNISMO 08-06-2012 07:43 PM

Looks good! I'm wondering if I can use these with my Nissan cold air intake and Z1 oil cooler......I don't know if it will all fit....

Don't think you would have a problem on the left side. The right side. you don't have enough room because of the washer reservoir. It's a TIGHT fit.

Well, the Nissan cold air kit came with a new fluid resivor that was relocated towards the center of the bumper support. I had issues with the oil lines and the lower intake tube on the right side not fitting together but we got it to work. I guess I can sell the hose kit if it does not fit, but putting holes in the bumper can't be reversed.

Just came across this picture on google. Was looking for something else. Thought I would post it. :D. Different shape, round. Would be easier to make and install.

Any updates on these replicas?

MJB 12-26-2012 07:13 AM

We should get a group buy going with Nissan Motorsports for these RC brake ducts!!

Z eliminator 12-26-2012 01:06 PM

do you think that they would fit a 370 z bumper ?

G Fo12ce 12-26-2012 08:18 PM

I'd be down if they weren't rediculously expensive.

pokeyl 01-01-2013 02:09 AM

Could we get a group buy discount if we order say 10 sets

I'm looking for the part # now ,I get a good deal on Nissan parts so I figure it's worth a shot.

Dwnshift 02-09-2013 01:15 PM

They are bought through Nissan Motorsports Parts.

Baer383 02-09-2013 01:21 PM

So Nissan doesn't sell these 41152-RTZ40 for the right. 41153-RTZ40 for the left?

MJB 02-09-2013 02:21 PM

Nissan Motorsports won't do a group buy for these?

Pm Rusty. I'm pretty sure those are the part numbers from Nissan Motorsports. You can download their catalog.

What do you guys think about these? Do you think it would look good on the Nismo fascia?

CorSport: Exterior - Brake Air Ducts - NACA-020825

I will call my people and see if we can do a group buy on the NISMO ducts

GaleForce 02-09-2013 05:48 PM

Just get some carbon dust for the holes, refinish (clear it or polish it) then secure to the bumper with panel bond.

I thought about doing something like that, but the Nismo RC ducts follow the bumper lines allot better.
