For you guys running spacers...question

I'm interested in the add on spacers (with replacement lugs), 15mm front / 20mm rear. Only to pull the wheels out in the fenders a bit. I'm NOT interested in dropping the car (been there, done that through the years). Car is a 2012 6MT with Sport pkg.

My question: After adding the spacers have you noticed any adverse handling effects? Reading on the 350Z forum, it seems that many guys have reported adverse effects after adding spacers (ie increase in tramlining, "squirrley" handling, less precise turn in and steering, etc.).

No adverse handling effects with a 15/20 combo if you use quality stuff like H&R and install properly.

If all you did was throw 20mm spacers on the rear and left the fronts alone, yes, you'd probably feel more understeer since you're widening the track at only the rear. 15/20 is close to even, so you won't notice the extra 10mm out back in street driving.

Remember those old Pontiac commercials? Wider is better.

If done correctly no problems will appear.

I went with H&R DRS 15/20 with no problems.

Do you need new lug nutz when you add spacers?

you can use the stock lugs on stock wheels with or without the spacers.

There are two types; the stud replacement type and the bolt-on type. The bolt-on type are really easy to install. The stud replacement type are a little more involved.

I went with 20mm Ichiba bolt on spacers at all four corners and have never experienced any adverse side effects. I have taken the Z well up into the triple digits many times as well as multiple canyon runs and it is nothing but smooth and stable.

Bolt on spacers scare the living isht out of me!

Not in a car where the 2010 had a recall due to drive shaft failure at 120mph+...

Then again, 370Zs are going through a near recall now on the steering. LoL...

So, just saying. I have 20mm all around. 100+% safe.
