Default wheel bearings?

guys/gals ive been having this click sound from each wheel when i go from a dead stop to moving. doesn't matter forward or backwards. i read somewhere on the forums we need our wheel bearings greased often... am i wrong? im doing my brakes this weekend and would love to just repack the grease while im working in there. is this possible or do i need special equipment to service these bearings?

or is it the bearings at all????? :\

Clicking is probably CVs....they are notorious for making a clicking noise from a stop.

If I remember correctly the CV's clicking was on the 350z too. I am pretty sure it wasnt an issue, just an annoyance. They clicked on my 350z for years, but everytime I took it in my mech said it looked fine.

If the click is only from the rear then it is probably the CV joints as corbin said. I had the same click on the G35 and they fixed it under warranty by removing the axles, greasing the splines and re-installing with the splines rotated 180 degrees.

I don't think you can easily re-grease the wheel bearings as they are a sealed unit. Sometimes it is possible to disassemble them anyway but I haven't tried yet.

Don't need to replace....just an annoyance.

If you replace them you usually wind up with the same click again.

I had to replace the bearings on my G35 and it wasn't a clicking sound it was more like a humming sound like something was rubbing against the tire... So don't think that's it, like Corbin and Chis said its probally the CV

Hello my name is Naum and i have an 09 370z touring i recently got into an accident, i side wipped a tree ay 25-30 mph. Body work was fixed but then they ran into a crack engine cradle/subframe also the steering rack had a crack. They also replaced a wheel bearing to the left side steering wheel. i got the car fixed and told that there shouldnt be anymore problems but everytime i break at slow speeds theres a popping noise cant really tell what it is but it sounds like something under the car or the brakes. It feels like the dealer auto body keeps messing with my car its been so far 10k in repairs can anyone please let me know what to do. It feels like if i take it back again which i will do something else will be wrong with it. help please
