Well when I pulled into work the other day I heard a screeching noise coming from the rear of my car while i was cruisin <5mph. I touched the breaks and it went away. Have not heard it since. Car has 3k miles should I be concerned?

Could be faulty calipers, or surface rust on the rotors after they get wet.

This makes sense.. It was the morning after driving the car in a significant amount of snow with salt on the roads..

That does it every time, once you hit the brakes a couple times they're clean and noise free.

Ok thanks for the heads up. I would like to note though I heard this noise AFTER my drive to work. So I had used the brakes on my way to work.. Hmm I dont know. I haven't heard it since so I'm not overly worried about it.
