So leaving in old RBF600 may (and I emphasize MAY) be worse than new DOT3. But mixing DOT3, 4, and 5.1 is not like mixing those with DOT5. DOT5 can only be used with DOT5. The fluids cannot be mixed. I agree with you....if going to the track, shortcuts are never good.
